Company
Intelig Telecom is mirror company of Embratel with Long National and International Distance authorization in the whole country (Operator's Code: 23).
Intelig has authorization to provide local service in all the country.
Docas Group, owned by Nelson Tanure, announced in 01/21/08 that a agreement was set to acquire Intelig. The operation was approved by Anatel in 07/31/08.
According to Docas Group's announcement, Intelig has annual billing of about R$ 740 million and has more than three million monthly users through Code 23 and two million corporative clients, including 94 of the 500 main important national companies.
Intelig invested R$ 2.8 billion in its net construction.
TIM purchases Intelig
The administrations of TIM Participações S.A. and Docas Investimentos informed on 03/16/09 the celebration of a Merger Agreement between TIM PART, its controller, TIM Brasil Serviços e Participações S.A. and JVCO Participações Ltda. with Docas' intervention, in order to manage the acquisition of Intelig Telecomunicações Ltda's inderect control.
This acquisition acquisition will happen by the merger of TIM PART with Holdco Participações Ltda. society controlled by JVCO, which will have 100% of Intelig's joint-stock. TIM PART (i) will absorb HOLDCO's liquid assets, which will be extinct and will transfer ao its rights and obligations, becoming Intelig's direct controller.
This incorporation of Holdco Participações Ltda. ("HOLDCO") by TIM PART was approved by Tim Participações, on December 30th 2009, so concluding the incorporation process of Intelig by Tim.
Anatel approved the purchase of Intelig by Tim in May de 2010. |
