Vivax

 

Vivax is the name of the joint venture of Pay TV Operators : Horizon and Canbrás.

 

 

Net buys Vivax

 

VIVAX shares are not negotiated in the Stock Exchange since 07/13/07. Vivax shares were replaced by Net (NETC4), to each share of VIVAX will be given 0.5678 preferential share emitted by NET.

 

In 10/12/2006 Net published the contract celebration:

  • with HTI to the acquisition of its in the Vivax and BTVC.
  • with Mr. Fernando Nobert and with BTVC to the control acquisition of Vivax by Net. This operation needs Anatel's approval.

In 12/05/06 the operation was done. Now waiting Anatel's approval to be implemented.

 

Vivax has office in Americana (São Paulo). It has 34 operational concessions, in which, 31 in São Paulo, two in Rio de Janeiro and Manaus ( Amazonas).

 

Vivax has been negotiating shares in São Paulo Stock Exchange since February 8th of 2006.

 

The following figure presents Vivax joint venture:

  • HTI: Horizon Telecom International;
  • BTVC: Brasil TV a Cabo Participações.
