The competition between TIM and Claro for the 2nd position in Brazilian cellular market share stimulates growth. Both operators that gained market share in 2011 and ended the first semester as tied, with 25.55% of the total of mobile accesses operating in Brazil.

The difference between these two carriers fell from 610 thousand in Dec/10 to 9.5 thousand in Jun/11.

You could ask:

  • Will TIM overtake Claro in mobile market share?
  • Which carrier will lead cellular growth in 2011?
  • Will Oi resume the leadership in mobile growth in the next months?
  • Will Vivo's leadership be in risk? When?
  • Will we have a new record in mobile growth in 2011?
