Cellular Growth in May/09

Preliminary data released by Anatel indicates that Brazil closed May counting 157.5 million cellulars and density of 82.44 cell/100 inhab. May/09 net adds of 2,905 thousand cellulars overcame May/08 (2,816 thousand). Prepaid stake continues to grow and reached 81.75.   Note: Anatel adopted a new estimation for population which was published by IBGE, so now the cellular density is calculated based on this new number.
