Commentary

The quantity of fixed accesses in service of Oi (Telemar Fixed) presented a rise of 0.2% in the quarter. The quantity of broadband accesses (ADSL) increased 5.3% in 4Q08.   Net profit was of R$ 78 million in 4Q08 and the net debt was of R$ 9,804 millions.
