Situation in 2004

Telefonica Móviles had 74.4 million cellulars in 2004 (53.6 proportional).

Telefónica Móviles, in the end of 2004, controlled in Latin America the operators following presented.

On March 5th of 2004 Telefonica Moviles signed up an agreement with Bell South to buy its operations in 10 countries of Latin America for US$ 5,850 million.
