Commentary

Since 3Q10, América Movil releases its results consolidating America Móvil, Telmex and Telmex International.

 

América Telecom is controled by Carlos Slim's family, that has the biggest part of the share with right to vote. AT&T Inc. has 23.4% of América Móvil's voting capital.

 

In Feb/06, América Móvil became the company holding the highest market cap in Latin America with US$ 117.59 Billion, according to Economática's estimation, surpassing Petrobras (US$ 98.66 Billion).

• Hutchinson Telecommunications Paraguay (Jul/05).
• Smartcom in Chile (Aug/05).
• Tim Peru (Aug/05) per 497 Million Euros.
