The service of Fix Telephony Commuted ( STFC) in its local modality is given in Brazil by the following categories:

Composed by companies of the system Telebras privatized in 1998 and some specials cases. Has more obligation than the others.

Authorization
Clique aqui |
It Includes what is called "Mirror Companies", that received authorization in 1999, and others companies with STFC authorization. From 31st december 2001 doesn't exist a limit to the number of STFC operators by region. The concessionairs became authorized out of their region of concession.

The regions ans sectors to concessions and authorizations of STFC were defined by Plano Geral de Outorgas (PGO) (in portuguese).
