Long Distance Operators

  • The service of Commuted Fixed Telephony (STFC) in the modalities of Nacional Long Distance (LDN) and International Long Distance (LDI) is operated in Brazil (Region IV) by a concessionaire (Embratel) and a Mirror Company (Intelig).
  • From 31st december/2001 there's no limit to the number of STFC operators, and Anatel has granted new authorizations to many companies.
  • STFC concessionaires to Local Service, that have concession of Long Distance on their regions have been growing the area with new authorizations.
