New Authorizations
The service of fixed commuted telephone (STFC) is operated by concessionaires, mirror companies and other operators that received authorizations in Brazil.
New authorizations were given in 2001 so little Mirror Companies could operate fixed telephony in cities that the other mirror companies weren´t operating.
From 31st of december 2001, there's no limit to STFC operators per region and since then Anatel gave new authorizations. This authorizations has been given to new companies and for concessionaires/mirrors to spread their working area.
Operators with Local Service Authorization in Operation
The following table has 27 operators with local service authorization that have quality indicators at Anatel. The operator is obligated to present these indicators 6 meses after starting the operation in a attendance area.
