Nortel
On 01/14/09, Nortel filed petitions in the United States Bankruptcy Court seeking relief under chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code and started restructuring in order to keep its operations.
Joint Ventures:
- On 12/01/2006 Alcatel and Lucent joint venture. Alcatel-Lucent will have Patricia Russo (Ex-Lucent) as CEO and Serge Tchuruk (ex-Alcatel) as president of the Council.
- 06/19/2006: Nokia and Siemens announced joint venture (50%/50%) which was named Nokia Siemens Networks and gathered business and network infra-structure of both operators. This comapany started to work in the Q107.
- 04/02/2006: Alcatel and Lucent announced an agreement to joint venture Lucent by Alcatel.
