Claro had a better performance in Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Sul, Distrito Federal, Goiás, Bahia and other states in the northeast.

Brazilian mobile net adds in June and July were inferior if compared with the one gotten in the same period of 2009. Is may happen again in August, month which presented strong growth in 2009.

Claro's performance in July signal that the operator will compete, along the second semester, for the leadership in net adds with Vivo and Tim. It may guarantee mobile growth in the last months of 2010. This growth may be higher than the one presented in the same period of 2009, confirming Teleco's projection that net adds will reach 26 million mobile accesses in 2010.
