Can TIM threaten Vivo's market share leadership in cellular?

In May, TIM reached market share leadership inside prepaid cellulars segment in Brazil, overtaking Vivo. So, the question is:

In two years and a half, TIM's total market share increased from 23.6% to 26.9% (+ 3.3 percentage points), while Vivo's market share remained stable between 29.6% and 29.8%.

In this period, the difference between both carriers dropped from 10.6 million cellulars in 2009 to 7.0 million in May/12.

Prepaid was responsible for the fall in the difference between the total of these operators' mobile accesses.

TIM became market share leader inside this segment by transforming into positive (+ 96 thousand) the difference to Vivo which was reached -7.3 million prepaid subscribers in 2009.

In postpaid, however, Vivo increased its advantage over TIM from 3.3 million mobile accesses in 2009 to 7.1 million in May/12. Vivo gained market share inside this segment, while TIM's market share remained stable.
