Which company will lead cellular growth in 2013?

The poll carried out by Teleco pointed out TIM (32%) and Claro (28%) as favorites to lead cellular growth in 2013.

This classification has bases: TIM led 2012's net adds and Claro was placed in the second position.

TIM's leadership was built in the first semester, while Clark led net adds during 2S12 (2.3 million).

Both operators got most of the prepaid net adds, while Vivo and Claro had the same performance but in postpaid.

TIM gained market share along the first semester on the other hand, Claro and Oi ended the year holding the market share registered in 2011.

Vivo lost market share in 2012, due to the reduction to 60 days in the limit to turn off inactive prepaid subscriptions inside its base in the last quarter of the year.

Operators seem to have adjusted their prepaid bases in 2012 and would be already to resume a stranger growth in 2013, that's the opposite of what happened in the second semester of 2012.
