Vivo recovered market share in 2015
In the first four months of 2015, Vivo recovered the market share lost in the last two years reaching again the same level of 2012. TIM, Claro and Oi lost market share in the beginning of 2015.

Vivo accumulated net adds of 2,850 thousand mobile accesses in the first four months of the year, six times more than the operator placed in the second position, Claro (479 thousand), TIM (-240 thousand) and Oi (-801 thousand).
Vivo's reaction happened inside prepaid segment, in which the company accumulated negative net adds in 2013 (- 3.8 million) and in 2014 (-2.0 million). In this period, Vivo promoted the readjustment of its base, reducing the time to turn-off inactive prepaid accesses to 60 days.
From Jan to Apr/15, Vivo's prepaid net adds were 10 times bigger than Claro's. TIM and Oi presented negative net adds.

By this result, Vivo recovered market share and is again close to the level the company was in in 2013, getting close to the operator placed in the second position (Claro). Claro also gained market share in this period while TIM and Oi lost it.

Vivo kept the leadership in postpaid net adds, overtaking TIM for a small advantage.

Tim's postpaid net adds in the first four months of 2015 were three times bigger than the value registered in the whole year of 2014 (223 thousand).
Despite being the net adds leader, Vivo lost postpaid market share along the four months of 2015.

TIM and Nextel gained postpaid market share. Nextel's market share jumped from 2.2% in the end of 2014 to 2.7% in April 2015.
