Telecom Leaders in Brazil in 1Q15
The new board of Telecom leaders in Brazil, after the incorporation of GVT by Vivo, shows equilibrium with Vivo/GVT leading in three indicators, América Móvil ruling two and Oi and SKY in one each.

Telefônica concluded, on May 28th 2015, the acquisition of GVT which became a subsidiary of Telefônica Brasil. The information presented here incorporate GVT to Vivo's quarter results.
In the first quarter of 2011, Teleco started to follow the performance of Telecom Groups in Brazil through selected indicators. We present below the results for 1Q15. This analysis includes the six bigger operators of the country.

1) Revenue: Vivo/GVT reached the leadership
Vivo GVT led in net revenue by holding R$ 10.4 billion in 1Q15, overtaking América Móvil (Claro, Embratel/Net). After this result Telefônica resumes the position of the biggest telecom group of the country.

2) Revenue growth: SKY's first
SKY led net revenue growth (20.3%) getting benefit from the bigger growth of pay TV and the offer of fixed broadband.

The revenue registered by Vivo/GVT (5.1%) and América Móvil (4.9%) showed smaller growth in comparison with inflation in the period (IPCA of 8.1%). Oi, TIM and Nextel presented negative growth.
3) Mobile Market Share: Vivo is the leader
Vivo, mobile market share leader in Brazil, led the net adds in 1Q15 and gained market share in this period.

4) Market Share of Fixed Telephones
Oi's the leader in fixed telephones but is losing market share. After the incorporation of GVT, Vivo conquered the position and started to gain market share.

5) Market Share of Fixed Broadband
América Móvil (Embratel/Net) amplified its leadership in market share of fixed broadband in 1Q15.

The incorporation of GVT wasn't enough to reverse the Vivo's trend to lose market share.
6) Pay TV Market Share
In 1Q15, América Móvil (Embratel/Net) kept the market share leadership. América Móvil presented small loss of market share in the period despite of been the leader in net adds.

Vivo/GVT overtook Oi and conquered the third position after the incorporation of GVT.
7) Profitability: Vivo/GVT is the leader in EBITDA margin
Vivo/GVT kept the leadership in EBITDA margin in 1Q15 (30.1%) with a small difference over TIM.
