The drop in voice revenue was accelerated in 1S15 by the fall of 10% in mobile voice revenue, in comparison with 1S14, due to a more intense use of messaging and reduction of VUM (interconnection). Fixed voice revenue decreased 3% in this period.

Mobile voice still is, however, the main telecom service in Brazil holding total revenue of 29% and voice total revenue of 59%.

Fixed broadband, mobile data and pay TV presented very similar participation in the total revenue of telecom services (16% to 18%).

Since 2013, voice is no longer the main revenue among fixed services. In 1S15, 69% of the fixed services revenue came from fixed broadband and pay TV.
