In 2015, three new indicators were introduced: Prepaid, postpaid and data revenue.

Vivo, TIM, Claro and Oi presented negative net adds in the prepaid segment and consequently in the total of mobile accesses.

Vivo led postpaid growth in 2015.

5) Mobile Broadband: Claro keeps the market share leadership

Claro kept the leadership in mobile broadband segment in Brazil in 2015.

Claro leads the market share of 3G handsets and Vivo is first in 4G handsets and broadband terminals.

6) Net Revenue: Vivo is the leader

Vivo kept the leadership with total net revenue of R$ 25.1 billion in 2015 and growth of 6.2% in relation to 2014. Claro remained stable, with growth of 1.03% in the year.

7) Data Revenue: Vivo is first

Vivo's data revenue overtook voice in 4Q15. It represented 51.4% of the services revenue.

Note: Claro doesn't release this indicator

Vivo is the operator holding the biggest data net revenue (R$ 11.1 billion) with growth of 34.1% in 2015.

8) Growth of Services Net Revenue: Vivo leads

* Oi: growth in the first 9 months of the year.

In 2015, Vivo led the growth in services net revenue, being the only one (among these four operators) to present positive growth. The other carriers didn't manage to compensate the drop in voice revenue with the growth of data revenue.

9) ARPU: Vivo keeps the leadership in ARPU

The growth in Vivo's ARPU was encouraged by a more adjusted base, by the massive cancellation of inactive prepaid accesses, and by the growth of data revenue. In 4Q15, Vivo's data ARPU (R$ 13.2) overtook voice (R$ 12.5).

The ARPU values informed by the operators aren't totally comparable because they use different criteria to determine it. Claro includes only the interconnection revenue (VUM) associated with long distance.

The minutes used by client (MOU) in Brazil increased in 4Q15 due to the massive cancellation of inactive prepaid accesses promoted in December.

10) Coverage: Vivo recovered the leadership

Vivo recovered the leadership in covered population in 4Q15, when we consider the group of the three technology generations. Claro led in covered population in 2G (92.8%), Vivo in 3G (88.8%) and TIM in 4G (51.5%).
