Telecom leaders board in Brazil presented Vivo as the leader in five indicators and Claro in two in 1Q16. In this quarter, Vivo surpassed Oi in fixed telephony market share becoming the leader in this indicator.

In the first quarter of 2011, Teleco started to follow the performance of Telecom Groups in Brazil through selected indicators. We present below the results for 1Q16. This analysis includes the six bigger operators of the country. The information incorporate GVT in Vivo's results in previous quarters.

1) Revenue: Vivo reached the leadership
Vivo led net revenue with R$ 10.4 billion, followed by Claro (R$ 9.0 billion).

2) Revenue Growth: Vivo is the leader
Vivou led net revenue growth (0.6%) and was the only positive growth registered in 1Q16.

3) Mobile Market Share: Vivo is the leader
Vivo, mobile market share leader in Brazil, kept stable market share in this period. TIM was the only company, among the four biggest operators, to increased its market share.

4) Fixed Telephones Market Share: Vivo surpasses Oi
Vivo surpassed Oi and conquered the leadership in fixed telephony market share in 1Q16. Vivo started to threaten Oi after the incorporation of GVT.

5) Fixed Broadband Market Share: Claro is the leader
Claro (Embratel/Net) and Vivo kept, in 1Q16, the same fixed broadband market share registered in 4Q15. Oi continued to lose market share.

6) Pay TV Market Share: Claro continues to lead
In 1Q16, Claro (Embratel/Net) amplified its leadership in Pay TV market share, while Sky (placed in the 2nd position) lost m. share.

7) Profitability: Vivo leads EBITDA Margin
Vivo recovered the leadership in EBITDA margin in 1Q16 (31.4%), overtaking TIM (29.1%).
