8) Pay TV Market Share: Claro
Claro, Pay TV leader, kept losing market share in 2021.

Oi's market share gain is associated with the fact that Anatel has started to consider as pay TV the approximately 2.5 million DTH users who purchased the reception kit (antenna, decoder and installation) but do not pay for the services, having access only to open TV channels and the mandatory ones. Oi, which got about +1.7 million and Claro with about +800 thousand were the main beneficiaries of this change.
9) Fixed Telephones Market Share: Claro was the Leader
Claro surpassed Oi in fixed telephony market share and took the lead in 2021 with 30.3% market share and 8.7 million fixed telephones.
