| Government creates committee to review legislation |
The Brazilian government announced the creation of a committee which will prepare studies and proposals for the revision of the legislation about the organization and operation of telecommunication services.
For the government, the legislation doesn't cover the new challenges promoted by media convergence. All the work will include studies the legislation in other countries where this segment is already developed.
The group will be based on the proposals approved in the first National Conference of Communication (Confecom), carried out in the end of 2009. |
