Redes SDH: Padrões e Recomendações

 

No período de 1984 a 1988 vários órgãos internacionais de padronização estabeleceram uma série de recomendações com técnicas para transmissão, comutação e sinalização e controle para implementar redes inteligentes baseadas em fibra óptica. A padronização da tecnologia SDH foi então estabelecida pelo ITU-T, sendo adotada inicialmente na Europa, e posteriormente também no Brasil.

 

As recomendações do ITU-T podem ser agrupadas nas seguintes categorias: tecnologia SDH (protocolos e equipamentos), rede,  sincronismo e sistema de gerência. Os padrões e recomendações relativos ao sincronismo podem ser encontrados no tutorial do Teleco Sincronismo na Rede SDH.
